that freaking figures
Von feilsy, 04:35

SO WAIT AND LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT. You are all more concerned with addressing some novelty mount rather than address the blatant and horrid state of cheating in RBGs. That freaking figures.

I don't know what the problem is with RBG's, wow gold and frankly don't care since its lol PvP lol, but it stands to reason that whatever issues there might be are far more complicated than applying a simple hotfix. Calm down, dudebro.

This is a terrible change wow gold fr
Von feilsy, 06:18

This is a terrible change, you don't even balance the game with 2s in mind at all, why are you trying to rework the capping system?wow gold fr you already took glad from 2s, theres no high end benefit to it, it makes you play against geared chars for hours? days? weeks? before you can gear up to a point where you dont die instantly. takes out the ability to 1v2 for fun. If you get a deserter for afking or leaving why is there still a leave option? If you cant tank MMR why do new chars start out at 1500 facing full geared people? just start new people at 0 MMR and have then climb up. This is crap.

posting or tweeting or blogging or april fooling
Von feilsy, 04:11

Some of you have this awkward misconception that when -community managers- are posting or tweeting or blogging or april fooling, that this is detrimental to development because they are spending less time developing and more time talking.or world of Warcraft

That's ridiculous.

They are called Community Managers for a reason. They're being paid to respond to those of you posting your questions and concerns and flamewars. They are not directly involved in the development process -- rather they are the modern-day secretaries.

Considering that quite a large portion
Von feilsy, 03:59

Considering that quite a large portion of SEA's population actually plays on Oceania........ wow, guys really?

No events have ever happened po world of Warcraft in the region (South America even got something with the launch of MOP), and you're doing one for SEA and not the whole lot of Oceania?
Did a kangaroo or a kiwi bite you as a child?

mobs for experience was the most efficient route
Von feilsy, 03:26

This isn't intended to be an "anti-grind" mechanic. It's intended to be an "anti-exploit" mechanic that programmatically addresses power-leveling abuses, with the aim of letting us reward legitimate players more generously. In the past, we've often had little choice but to drastically reduce the experience awarded by certain respawning bosses or enemies that are locked in combat with other NPCs, because otherwise they'd be abused. That always felt bad to the regular player who was just passing through in the course of questing or exploration and got unexpectedly little or no experience for killing something. The goal was to come up with an approach that would be invisible to most players, but discourage sitting there and repeatedly farming the world of Warcraft po same mob for long stretches of time in order to gain experience. Alternatives like questing, dungeons, or PvP are all supposed to be more lucrative than that - WoW has never been a game in which mass-killing mobs for experience was the most efficient route.

That said, clearly this implementation is far too strict, and is triggering from a wide variety of normal activity. We're going to disable the functionality entirely and look into a much more narrowly targeted approach if and when we reintroduce it. Apologies for the inconvenience and the lack of response on the issue - we were working on understanding exactly where the algorithm was going awry, and now that we've done so, we'll be taking action in the near future.

was very disappointing for all of us
Von feilsy, 03:37

I also hope you'll accept my apology and keep your faith in us. The support voiced by many of you as we worked through the challenges was immensely appreciated. We're extremely grateful to be part of such a passionate community. We love World of Warcraft, and we're very proud of this expansion, so stumbling out of the gates like this was very disappointing for all of us.

On behalf of the World of Warcraft development team, as well as everyone at Blizzard, thank you all again for www.euwowgold.fr your patience and understanding.

See you in Draenor.

Sincerely,
J. Allen Brack
Executive Producer, World of Warcraft

certain post. While the post is buried
Von feilsy, 03:43

The upranking and downranking system is here simply for other posters to show whether or not they like or disagree/dislike a certain post. While the post is buried, those that wish to read it still can. World of Warcraft Gold It is not removed from the forums and thus someone's "right" to share their viewpoints is still in tact. If enough people "like" the post, it should unbury.

Stare blankly at what was once Stormwind park. or wow Then question why the King thought it necessary to put up statues of himself but not barricade off the damage so children wouldn't get hurt.

a little less than two weeks
Von feilsy, 03:36

Why? Because I like it, that's why.

As has been pointed out many, many, MANY times, the portals in Shattrath, and later in Dalaran, were intended to connect people to the old world to access their auction houses and their class trainers. Now Shattrath and Dalaran have auction houses and class trainers, so the point behind portals is moot. But you people acting entitled to your perks, you're ranting, raving, saying "screw this, I quit", or other childish lunacy.

Cataclysm is due in now a little less than two weeks - and yet you people constantly find things to gripe about. They introduce worgen and all I've heard is people whine about how they look stupid, or (by the lore-minded people) how the Horde gets to continue the wow po worgen storylines in Silverpine and Gilneas, or wondering why they'll get sent all the way to Darnassus, or why they can't just get mounts like everyone else, yada yada friggin' yada. We get flight in the lower continents, something we've been after since BC introduced the concept of flying mounts in the first place, and all people whine about are their precious portals, not wanting to have to leave Dalaran because they've been there two years and it's inconvenient for them to change their routines.

depths of the Great Sea long ago
Von feilsy, 03:40

The other path leads to Vashj'ir, the Highborne city that sank into the shadowy depths of the Great Sea long ago. This hostile aquatic environment is home to some of Azeroth's most ancient -- and terrifying -- beings. If you choose to venture into these fathomless deeps, you'll find yourself thrust into a conflict with Queen Azshara's hateful naga, the fearsome Kvaldir, and Neptulon the Tidehunter's water elementals. Fortunately wow or , the shamanic Earthen Ring, the adventurer Harrison Jones, and many other valiant allies will be at your side as you explore World of Warcraft's first underwater zone.

With this knowledge in mind, tell us: in Azeroth's darkest hour, which path will you take?

make one's gaming experience more enjoyable
Von feilsy, 04:33

That's a bit of a logic pretzel (and not one of the tasty salted ones, either). Just because something isn't a necessity doesn't mean it can't make one's gaming experience more enjoyable.

You're more than welcome to po wow refrain from using the Beginner Tooltips, as well as any other optional feature we provide, if you feel it doesn't mesh with your preferred play style.

last cap before the defense to recover
Von feilsy, 04:11

Just had an idea on solving the "tower signifgance" and "offense difficulty" problems at the same time.

Destroying a tower (as offense) decreases the time to cap a node, and increases the time for the defense to recap :-)

the DR idea sounds nice, the more defense loses nodes,t he harder it is to take them.

The other possibility to ease it for theoffense is to possibly extend the "cap bars" so that the controlled sections are larger, and the "uncontrolled" neutral section is shorter. this requires defense to be more reactive, because you only have something like 30 sec to get to a node once you see the warning, and it gives offense a chance to sneak in that last cap before the defense to recover.

O.T. : Predicting thread acheter wow po spam 3 weeks from now "CHANGE TB TOO EASY FOR OFFENSE"

Edit: another variant solution: combine the 2 above ideas, every time you destroy a tower, increase the size of the attacking teams cap bar

leader's phase would be great
Von feilsy, 04:11

Being able to join the group leader's phase would be great, but it would need to be an option.

If you are grouped together and it automatically phases you to the group leader's phase you'd need to be careful acheter wow gold when accepting quests so that someone in the group didn't lose the chance to talk to an NPC or complete a quest because they were phased at the wrong moment.

problem for real via client-side patch
Von feilsy, 04:05

They're well aware of what the root causes of the problem are, it's just not something they can address via hotfix. The honor boost is/was an obvious band-aid fix until they can address the problem for real via client-side patch.

They thought that the consequences of ludicrous honor gain would not be as bad as the old state of the zone where World of Warcraft(EUR) it wasn't worth bothering to attack. They have since decided that they were wrong and they'd rather see the zone be hard to flip than have it be win traded for several times more honor/hour than any other activity in the game, hence today's hotfix.

when you market the game to children
Von feilsy, 03:53

TL;DR: I carried a group of awful players and they left after causing 1 wipe. This is why I guild run these things.

In the time it took me to rewrite this about 18 minutes have elapsed on my queue.

This is what happens when you market the game to children.
This is what happens when you market the game and its expansions at Christmas time.
This is what happens when you design an entire expansion around grab-bag instances and raids, wow gold and then launch one which is the opposite.

This fail thread happens.
These fail groups happen.
These fail devs are overwhelmed by the results of their own awful decisions.
