when you market the game to children
TL;DR: I carried a group of awful players and they left after causing 1 wipe. This is why I guild run these things.
In the time it took me to rewrite this about 18 minutes have elapsed on my queue.
This is what happens when you market the game to children.
This is what happens when you market the game and its expansions at Christmas time.
This is what happens when you design an entire expansion around grab-bag instances and raids, wow gold and then launch one which is the opposite.
This fail thread happens.
These fail groups happen.
These fail devs are overwhelmed by the results of their own awful decisions.
we're not all rays of sunshine 24/7
Acknowledging that good-hearted players do exist and have left a lasting impression on me doesn't make me ignorant of the "dark side," as you've called it. It simply means that I appreciate the sincerity and politeness I've encountered in-game enough to call it out. I look for the good in people, so I find it. I'm sure that if I spent my time believing that all players were wretched, vile little cretins instead, I'd be able to produce a myriad of examples to support that expectation -- because, hey, we're not all rays of sunshine 24/7.
You have a lot of power over how you perceive the world. If you (the global "you") insist that the community euwowgold is terrible and are unwilling to seek out the good in it, then, yes, you're probably going to have a bad time since you'll only be looking for behavior that validates your viewpoint. I was merely offering a different perspective to show that, no, everything is not hopeless and that, yes, it's possible to embrace the World of Warcraft community as something that's inherently good.
going on for absolutely ages in that BG
Alterac Valley is my favourite pass time. The large scale battle with so many ways to turn the tide and win - I just wish a bit more developer attention went towards it. There have been bugs going on for absolutely ages in that BG.
NPC's should never be euwowgold.fr overpowered by gear and I know an issue with wrath was that it was such a task to get anyone to take notice that blitz was happening every game - you'd queue for 10 minutes for the game to be over in 5. The captains stayed at 500k health the entire expansion... and the silence is deafening when it comes to any battleground issues. :(
While there have been no changes to it for many years, it's still the battleground I enjoy the most and I'm hoping one day Blizzard will spend some time on reducing the quest requirements and making *all* the NPC's feared opponents again. :)
Seems a lot of people took this as some kind of pointed
I really did find an old notebook. Seems a lot of people took this as some kind of pointed attack on their specific concern. That 'this is clearly aimed at X to make fun of people concerned about Y.' One person even claimed it was a trap to try to ban a bunch of people. (!)
We're going to make a lot of posts www.euwowgold.fr , and the vast majority probably won't be about your specific concern. And some will be fun. We're not robots. (I actually think Zar might be. I saw him drinking motor oil once.)
Sorry you didn't have fun reading it. :\ I thought it was a humorous look back at old changes we made. Anyway, I'll continue to make such lighthearted posts as they may come about. And I'll continue to bring information and meaningful replies when possible. There will always be serious concerns about the game, and there will always be a desire for us to be able to chat with you and joke around in-between gathering feedback and relaying info. I find that to be the opposite of insulting.
want Discipline to be exactly what it is now
I read this to say: "We want Discipline to be exactly what it is now, a healer who specializes in absorbsion."
So you're done, we can expect to wow po not get yanked around be the buff/nerf lollercoaster any more?
Also RE-EXAMINE THE TIER BONUSES, THEY ARE WHACKY.
Tiduz, did you delete your tier imbalance thread or did mods?
going primarily to overheal by most accounts
Daxxari, it's nice to finally see any sort of comment on Blood, but much of what you've written just seems grossly wow gold fr divorced from reality as most Blood tanks and theorycrafters see it.
Stacking blood shields does nothing to alleviate DS timing constraints.
You respond to a comment about our healing not scaling by saying it is scaling (when it's going primarily to overheal by most accounts).
You mention utility in all three trees, but the fact is that we can justify wasting five points to get Lichborne because there is literally nothing else worth taking.
I and many others have written about the issues at the core of the "modern" Blood tree, numerous times. It's counter intuitive, it doesn't scale well, it's built around a hodge-podge tree full of vestigial DPS talents and abilities, it is unfairly punishing to average players while being on the brink of overpowered for those who know how to abuse it, and it requires significant out of game research to play well.
To have all these concerns replied to with a blanket "working as intended, you're just supposed to work harder than any other tank" is honestly kind of insulting.
the role Ret keeps finding itself in
In WotLK, it was stated a Defensive DPS spec doesn't work well in WoW, but yet that seems to be the role Ret keeps finding itself in.
Has that design theroy changed, meaning are you planning on giving another shot at making a defensive dps po world of Warcraft spec work? if not, and you want Ret to be more of an offensive spec, what steps are being taken to further push them into an offensive state?
full clear Naxx run in I think early february
To be completely honest, Daxxarri, I specifically remember there being quite a few pugs from the get-go. Even in the first couple of months of WotLK there were PUGs full clearing (or close to full clearing) naxx and OS (no drakes).
I personally PuGged a full clear Naxx run in I think early february, so just months after the expansion was released.
I think the problem people have or world of Warcraft with progression is not so much that the raids can be challenging, but that we have 2 entirely separate tiers of raiding catered to the 'hardcore'.
I think a lot of people are dismayed because they felt like we were promised a somewhat similar entry raid tier when we were promised heroic modes -- I think some people thought that the idea of hardmode and regular mode raids might somewhat follow:
Normal modes --> Naxxramasish
Hardmodes --> OS+3d (i.e. not puggable)
thus rendering it useless
Why does the horror effect absolutely have to DR with itself? Our dots cost so much mana, when dispelled 3 times the dispellers and his teamates because immune to the "dot protection", thus rendering it useless.
Right now in arenas when I have a melee on me, the only thing I can do is at least dispel my teamates. Next patch, this is getting removed, what will I be able to do? My dots gets instantly dispelled without any punishment, and I have one instant every 12 seconds... (SW:D) World of Warcraft Gold . If I ever get a VT on, it's getting instantly dispelled as well, a 2 seconds "horror" every 27-28 seconds is just not cutting it (taking into account the DRs).
I fail to see how this is right...
Why isn't this available on the web
I have to bring up an issue. Why isn't this available on the web? I pay for the remote subscription so I can AH while on my laptop, but I can't connect to warcraft where I am. I feel as if the mobile guild chat feature would be very good for the web as well and hope you consider implementing it!
